Local Supports

Mental health is a critical aspect of overall well-being, yet it cannot be effectively addressed solely through therapy and medications. While professional treatment plays an essential role, it is vital to acknowledge that foundational needs must be met first, as outlined in Maslow's hierarchy of needs. In our community, various local resources are available to assist individuals in achieving these basic necessities. Food pantries provide essential nutrition, while housing programs aim to secure stable living situations. By ensuring that these fundamental needs are fulfilled, we lay the groundwork for better mental health outcomes. Access to support systems that address both physical and emotional well-being is essential for fostering resilience and promoting healing within our community.

There has been a major shift in the economy that has impacted families that have never had to worry about keeping a roof over their heads before. While we cannot fix the problem, we have located some local options that can help relieve that stress. We have compiled a list of available supports and services in the area to better support you and meet your needs. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, or if you have a resource you'd like to add for community awareness.
